Manor of Posiar
An ancient village with a dark secret.
History
Posiar was founded three centuries ago, around 420TR, on the site of a much older Aleta tribal settlement. It joined the Kingdom of Aleathia and later became an ignored part of the Corani Empire. After the fall of the Theocracy of Tekhos, it became a fief in the small Kingdom of Edern, with Osac Edern, the half-brother to King Falan Daltene, named lord. Clan Edern remained in control when the Kingdom of Edern was absorbed into the growing Kingdom of Kanday during Ezar's War.
Current Affairs
The current Lord, Sir Maild, is very strict but fair and is prone to lengthy absences adventuring with his warrior companions. He has recently volunteered to fight the Foulspawn armies of the New Empire Of Lothrim, invading the beleaguered Kingdom of Kaldor. During these times, his wife, Lady Erane, and his chamberlain, Turryl of L’sean, act on his behalf.
Sir Maild, with his liege lord's permission, has recently expanded his fief, founding a small Hamlet of Traven. He has clashed with the Miners Guild operating the nearby Lead Mine and finds the guild's privileges infuriating. A pair of miscreant serfs have recently sought refuge and the protection of the Miners Guild rather than face Sir Maild's strict punishments for a drunken brawl.
Notable Locations
Posiar Manor
The manor compound consists mostly of stone buildings protected by an 11-foot-high palisade. It also has a stable managed by Sir Maild's bastard half-brother and a large hall.Shrine of Peoni
The church has a newly constructed cottage and a tithe barn. The local Ebasethe (Peonian priest), Father Habus, holds services at an outdoor shrine or in the barn on days with poor weather. The church is supported by 60 acres of fields and a small apple orchard tended by the villagers. When funds are available, there are plans to construct a small temple in the village.
Forbidden Hill
This small wooded hill, surrounded by a well-maintained 4-foot stone wall, has had a sinister reputation for longer than anyone in the village can remember. A local law, likely hundreds of years old, forbids locals from climbing the hill.

Attacus, the manor map is awesome, did you do the map yourself or is this fanon? If self done, what tool or app did you use? Thanks.
Fanon, Harn Pottage IV at Lythia.com. It also has the basic scenario, which I adapted and expanded on. I did make some minor changes to the map. I now use a combination of Paint Shop Pro and CC3+, with the Harn map add-on, for my maps. By the way, thanks for the help on the coding issue with the other report. I'm unsure what went wrong, so I posted a new (hopefully) working version.
Embarrassed face, uhh that would be me, the comments section did not like having bad code installed, it kept trying to find images that did not exist, so my bad. Apologies.
That explains it; a lot of puzzling on my part. No problem, all corrected.
Yeah, I tried to delete the post, but the screen kept cycling and I could not hit the delete button. Glad you got things sorted.
