Ailee Fwanda
Ailee was born to Grelai and Weskl Fwanda of the esteemed Fwanda Wandering Caravan, a two centuries old large trader caravan headed by the sun elf Fwanda family mildly famous for living entirely on the road and employing around two dozen expert tradespeople and craftspeople of various disciplines and origins. Her older brother, Taran Fwanda, would have been the heir to the family business but upon becoming an adult he decided to leave the life of a caravanner to become an adventurer, leaving Ailee with the position of heir. Due to the long lifespans of the elves, Ailee's duties as heir came second to her education in many different fields over the course of growing up on the road with the caravan, as she is expected to gain more than a human's lifetime of experience before truly becoming an elven adult. Her favored area of study quickly became the field of engineering and artificery as she grew a close relationship with her gnomish mentor in the field who worked with the caravan, Hamil Bogwin. He once told her of a legend of a true living automaton that sparked her curiosity and gave her a dream of one day creating one herself.
When she reached cultural adulthood for elves at 100, she left the caravan to study artificing at a college in Waterdeep. While there she met and fell in love with Hector Branwelden, a human man studying at the same school. After a few years they got married and had a daughter, Triss. Content with her life in Waterdeep, she decided to stay there with her family at least until her daughter became an adult before planning to return to the Fwanda Caravan. She worked for around a decade as a professional engineer, designing various machines for businesses.
