Nai Puy
Nai Puy has been in conflict with her sisters since almost the moment that she was born. One of three daughters born to a wealthy Waterdeep merchant, Nai has struggled to gain the attention and recognition her sisters seem to achieve effortlessly. Nai worries that if she does not carve her own path of success, she will be overshadowed by her siblings and forgotten. True or not, it’s what drove Nai to develop her skills as a duelist in the most civilized and regulated way possible. While her older sister became active in politics, and her younger sister helped run the family business, Nai competed in several high-end dueling societies hoping to stand out. But she never quite reached the elite status she craved in Waterdeep. As she sought to make a name for herself through this prowess, her upper-class background and relative skill as a duelist caught the attention of the Lord’s Alliance. Eager to jump at the chance to further make a name for herself, Nai was quick to join.
Now, Nai has come to Mithrite on orders from the Lords' Alliance. But while she is there to do their bidding, she has her own plans. In a place such as this, there are many opportunities to make a name for oneself, to gain the fame and renown that she could leverage to overshadow her sisters.
Nai is of average height and stature, more wiry than muscular. She keeps her light brown hair short and out of her eyes. Skillful as she is as a duelist she still has a small collection of scars, mostly on her upper arms and face that she does her utmost to cover up. Nai is quick to anger, often petty, and prone to outbursts. This has made her few allies, and she often needs to leverage her power as an agent of the Lord’s Alliance. The exception is when it comes to dueling. As much as it may pain her, she acknowledges her defeats gracefully, and her victories humbly.
