Charlamaine Hill
The aptly named Charlamaine Hill is set on the highest point within the town's walls, granting sweeping views of the Greypeak Mountains to the east and the Delimbiyr River valley and the Southwood to the west. It is a walled subcommunity and home to the very wealthiest settlers in Mythrite.
Skilled craftsman dwarves were brought in to transform the ruined remains of a once nondescript fortification into something of a modest palace with the nearby structures being built into handsome dwellings with decorated arches, beautifully wrought balconies and courtyards with working fountains. All the work was done in a matter of weeks at great expense, though it's not known who foot the bill.
Charlamaine Hill is strategically placed, giving the nobles a clear view of the miners caravan returning from a day's work in the hills and exactly how much mythril and other ores and precious metals are brought to the Stamp Mill and Refinery for processing. The majority of Professional Services are either housed within the subdivision or just outside the western walls. The four gates are closed nightly and patrolled around the clock by the Town Guard .
