Siesces Jiscurgu
Siesces grew up working in the Lower City in Baldur’s Gate, born to parents who worked in some of the warehouses in the docks of Brampton. When he was old enough, Siesces joined his parents in working in a warehouse, but always craved more, and dreamed of a more interesting life as a merchant. Upon hearing stories of the quickly growing town of Mythrite, Siesces took what money he had and seized the opportunity.
Once he arrived in Mythrite, Siesces tried to open a store, but between the cost of the building and the other more experienced and wealthier merchants who saw as much opportunity as he had, Siesces didn’t have the money or stock to compete, and his shop quickly failed. Now forced to work as a miner to get by, Siesces makes just enough to survive, let alone hire transportation or protection to go back to Baldur’s Gate. With that said, he has still tried to make the best of his situation, attempting to organize a kind of rudimentary “trade network,” for simple, everyday items among the working class of the Halberd.
Siesces is a money-minded man, and while he does not give things away for free, he is willing to share when his neighbors are in need. He is always trying to budget his meager income and save to attain a better life. He is delicate, weighing no more than about 120lbs, and has no real physical capabilities, thus his mining work is very hard on him. He relies on argument and persuasion alongside the assistance of others to settle conflicts, as well as for protection during treks through the wilderness to and from the mine. He is also amicable more often than not, whether it comes from trying to network and expand his connections, or a place of genuine friendliness.
