Taron Yuu

While to most folks in Mythrite, Taron Yuu’s just the next nobody miner from Waterdeep with the same oh-so-original lofty aspirations of striking it rich off mithril as everyone else. And he’d tell them without a moment of hesitation that they’d be right. But the one difference between himself and others is that he’ll do anything to make it happen.
Although Taron’s just barely old enough to be considered an adult, due to his calm, yet energetic demeanor and genuine personality, he’s often presumed to be as a responsible young man at a distance. But just as hastily of this respectable image of him is established, Taron’s as quick to destroy it with an ill-timed joke or a thoughtless remark. Despite this, Taron’s go-getter attitude and willingness to lend a hand tends to earn the trust and favor of those around him with ease, regardless of how terrible his first impressions are.
Rumor has it that Taron fled to Mythrite after causing the last cave-in at the mines in Waterdeep. Gossip says that he digs without a care for his own life at best, and with sheer reckless abandon for the lives around him at worst. And from what folks’ve seen, Taron doesn’t let anyone and anything get in his way keep and him from his work. Word has it that his “devil be damned” attitude lead him so far to break down a core support beam in the mine to get to a vein of gold he noticed behind it. Apparently, that if only he’d had only listened to the other miners around him, he would’ve stopped to realize that it was apparently fools gold saw too.
