Veti Sudz
Veti Sudz is a 26-year-old human who lives in the middle ground between the newcomers and the settlers of the land. As a Caravan Guard she often sleeps on the road without a real place to call home, but she is content within the life she has defined for herself. With no specific home, she spends her time surrounded by the closest thing she has to family, her fellow guards. She’s aromantic but is affectionately friendly to her brothers and sisters in arms.
In between trips between the Caravan Camp and the Mythrite mines she plays gambling card games with the other guards. No one can tell what cards she has or what cards she has or what cards she’s gonna play. You might think it’s because she’s stone-cold stoic from her time as a guard, but surprisingly it’s actually because she’s so giggly that she laughs through the entire game regardless of what is happening. Maybe that’s because they bet with drinks since they have too little money to bet with.
She’s ex-military, and has both seen, and participated in more deaths than most people do within a lifetime. Where others might grow cynical, she has grown into the belief that “if I don’t know how soon I’ll die, I might as well enjoy the life I’ve got”. Along those lines, she prefers to not dwell on the past too much. However if you find her after she’s had a few drinks, she’ll talk about it for hours if you ask.
