Religion
Most Faronites practice typical Hylianism, though one of the province's most well-known attractions is the Forest Temple, which offers praise to Farore . Most Faronites include special praise to Farore when calling upon the Golden Goddesses.
Agriculture & Industry
Most of the scant towns in Faron were started as attempted lumber towns early in the Industrial Revolution. However, this raised an outcry from the religious communities of Hyrule, who felt that the sacred Faron Woods should not be disturbed. The lumber industry eventually moved up into Tabantha and Hebra, leaving Faron without any real primary economy. Most major income in the region comes from the city of Ordon, where people make a pilgrimage to visit the Forest Temple, and now towns only usually have the businesses and jobs needed to keep their small communities afloat.
Infrastructure
Infrastructure outside of Ordon is basic, to say the least. Most roads are unpaved, even in town centers, and many towns are off the grid, either using generators or going without power entirely. During the winters, settlements will often become entirely snowbound.
