Manifestation
Extremely powerful Aether Winds can results in typically result in one of two effects:
- Aether Voids: An Aether void is when all of the available aether within the area is consumed as a result of being used up or being pulled away as a result of aether winds. When an aether void happens, all magic within the area stops. Spells like Anti-Magic field,Counterspell, and Dispell Magic actively use temporary aether voids in order to counter magical effects.
- Aether Storms: The opposite of Aether Voids, when a large volume of aether enters an area via aether winds all at once. The mass turbulence of aether causes spell to go heywire and can even cause temporary magical effects in a locailzed area for a time. Some sorcerers are capable of causing aether storms on command.
