Faded Elves

Faded Elf is a general term used to describe an elf who has not spent enough time in Plane of Emotions or someone who is born of an Elven parent and a Non-Elven parent. Either results in a faded elf, who exhibits traits of both elves and not.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Faded Elves tend to exhibit muted versions of Elves traits in appearence. They tend to have shorter ears, simpler skin tones, and exhibit less magical powers of Elves. Oddly, the red eye trait of Elves doesnt seem to be affected by the fading proccess.

Genetics and Reproduction

Fade elves can be natural born, of course, through having a parent who is an elf and a non-elf. However, Elves themselves can also undergo the fading process by staying way from the Plane of Emotions for long periods of time. After about 40 years away from a native plane, the features of the elf slowly. By 65 years, they are considered a fully faded elf. As such, most elves spend a week in their native plane every 50 years in the process they call "renewing".
