Machina

Machina is a classcial kingdom located in the eastern half of Talfinmora with a focus on technology. Machina is highly considered the most technologically advanced country in the whole of Moirai. Additionally with the wholesale acceptance of Osleer and their aether-tech, Machina is set to become even more advanced.

Structure

Machina is ruled by the The Seated Council, the five members of whom are decided by a vote of the people every 5 years. Each seat on the council is based on an important role of the kingdom, and canidicates campaign is based on their expertise in that field. The five seats are


Seat of Law- Determines laws, mayors, and punishments. Seat of Economics- Determines Taxes, government spending, and trade Seat of Public Services- Determines maintaince of hosptials, schools, sewers, wells, etc. Seat of Depomacy- Determines realtionships with other nations, handles ambassitors and visitors Seat of Defence- Determines both the guards and the military itself, and how it handles miltiary actions.

Culture

Machina is the most technolgoically advanced country in the world. Dispute this, the people of Machina do their best in order to be warm and welcoming, dispute being what the rest of the world would consider as "well off". Many poeple of Moirai have the impression of Machians as "posh" or "arrogant". While this may be true for some, most of the people are welcomeing and friendly, if a bit ecentiric.

Public Agenda

The public agenda of Machina tends to change as members of the Seated Council changes, along with the moods and opinions of its people. While the Seated Council has been great for the continued development of the country itself wealth and technology wise, it gives off an inconsistant message to other countries.

Assets

While the part of Talfinmora that Machina controls isn't partiularlly rich in rare rescources or has any highly coveted metals beyond gold, Machina has the most advanced Aether-tech in all of Moirai. Additionally, thanks to their acceptance of the Osleer, their knowledge of aether-technology has greatly increased as well.

Demography and Population

The vast majority of the people of Machina are that of the smaller races of Moirai; Dwarves, Gnomes, and Halfings. There is is also a large contingent of humans who also live in Machina as well, but they are a minoirty in contrast to the other races here. The only other major notable race that lives comfrtably in Machina is the Osleer, a very tall alien like race that came to The Material Plane from beyond the Planes and coming from the far realms.

Foreign Relations

Machina has a strained relationship with Van' Riram of whom they share the contient with. Van' Riram lays claim to half of the contient of Talfinmora and is considered somewhat hostile to Machina as least diplomatically. Machina has a great relationship with The Tradewind Alliance, since they are very interested in the aether-tech good and other marvels for trade purposes. This is the same reason why they are also on good terms with the Bolton Kingdom.

The country of Machina uses Gold coins, like the rest of Moirai. The coins of Machina are geometic in shape,Plantinum being Octogons, gold being Pentagons, Silver being sqaure, and Copper being triangle in shape.
