Petty King / Queen / Sovrum
A petty king, queen, or sovrum rules over a petty kingdom, which is described as minor or "petty" by contrast to an empire or unified kingdom. A petty monarch's kingdom is typically broken up into duchies, counties, and baronies all of which are loyal to the petty monarch. In the Moontide Isles, the petty kingdoms are all united under the rule of the High Queen of the Moontide Isles.
