Bend River

A single road settlement between Alluminos and Yoneh along the Voyager River. Mainly a farming town, with a few families spread out, and a single road in the middle. Named Bend River as it appears at a major turn in the Voyager River. The main exports are meat, grains, vegetables, and livestock.
There is a hotel, but there is no tavern.
The captain of the guard often has to be the judiciary official as well.   After Gusterus 11th, 130 FE, the town's sheriff was murdered, and the local landowner deemed criminal Kelios Kostas was found eviscerated. The mayor's situation is unknown.

Demographics

>2000 people 40% Humans (15% half human), 30% Dwarves, 20% Halflings, 1% Elves, 8% Orcs. >1%all other.

Government

The township has a mayor appointed by the local lord, but he’s not very active in the community, preferring to keep to his finances. The best source of income is the local innkeeper knows enough about everyone and the Rancher Kelios Kostas. There is a local sheriff and his few men.

Industry & Trade

Everyone farms, and the merchant purchases metal for his wares and stays afloat from the farmers selling their crops. Every half year the local lord (who lives in Settledusk) comes to collect taxes in the form of grain or animals.
The people receive metal from caravans travelling through to from the Vasu’Roba Canyon Mines. There used to be a mine but it has since been abandoned.

Infrastructure

What's not covered by the inn is mostly spread out farms that rarely interact.   Kelios Kostas has a system of labor for people who work for him.

Assets

The Inn: The Creaky Bed, is the only major building that isn't the local farmstead.
