Artio Loris Artox

Ser Artio Artox, known as the Sword of Radiance, is a legendary knight, paladin and the leader of the famed Lightbringer division of the Zelist Church.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Artio is a large man - very tall, broad-shouldered, and muscular. Artio has bright purple eyes, which contrast against the grey tone of his skin.

Apparel & Accessories

Artio wears a set of Black Steel armour, with his helmet being fashioned with depictions of raven wings on either side. The armour connects directly to a fur trimming which lines the top of Artio's chest piece. Artio's right pauldron is emblazoned with the bright star of the Zelist faith, similarly the same symbol is sewn into his cloak, though it has long faded due to use.

Specialized Equipment

Artio wields the twin bastard swords of "Beak" and "Talon", the same blades wielded by Andreina Berruchi during her life time. The swords were gifts from his brother Calsifur on the day of his induction into the divine order.

Personal history

Before his induction into the Paladins Artio Artox was a member of House Kcrune and third in line for the Throne of Glass. Many consider Artio to be the most deadly warrior in all of Uralease, fighting like a torrent of steel and radiant light.

Education

Artio is highly educated befitting a member of House Kcrune.  As befitting a member of House Kcrune, Artio is highly educated having spent 3 years under the tutelage of Grand Scholar Tàmmaro Pisano.

Employment

Artio is the current leader of the Lightbringer's.

Accomplishments & Achievements

During the Hellfire Incursion of 1080 at the age of 15, Artio singlehandedly defeated the Archdaemon responsible for the incursion sending the forces of the damned back to their rightful place in the pits of hell. This act would earn Artio the name Darkbane.
Artio has been the champion of the Grand Raventivan Tourney for the last 33 years, save 3 events in which his squires Bareris Haphet and Mairon D'Amore took place in. Artio withdrew from these events so that he would not be pitted against his students.
