"The Good King" Calsifur Loris Kcrune

Calsifur Kcrune, more often referred to as "The Good King Calsifur" or the "Raven King" was the King of Raventiva until his eventual assassination at the hands of his own son, Georgio "The Crow" Kcrune. He succeeded his father Aloisio "The Second Son" Kcrune. Calsifur ruled over Raventiva from 1081 CC to 1113 CC, he was very respected by nobles and peasants alike. Despite what the noble houses of Reoyce may say about the Kcrunes during the Feathered War, the (then) Young King Calsifur was surprisingly merciful to his enemies. Setting most of those he captured free. While he maintained a strong standing millitary Calsifur, unlike some of his predecessors, was not concerned with conquest and glory. Instead devoting much of his time to improving infrastructure and living conditions within his Kingdom. Priding himself on his intellect Calsifur wished to share the gift of knowledge with all of his people, making schooling much more accessible to the lower class. Literacy during his reign rose to near 90%, a feat that had not been accomplished on the continent before. Calsifur regulalry gave high standing within his government to peasents who in his words "Deserved the spot much more than most of this than these people simply trying to climb the ladder". At least some of these views can be attributed to his close friendship with "Peasent Lord" Duke. Claudio D'Amore. which initially began during the Feathered War. Standard of living for the lower class during his reign drastically increased, while most noble families opinion of him diminished. Due to the distain from these views, most if not all noble families were willing to accept Georgio with very little question after Calsifurs untimely demise.
