Irons
"House" Irons was the House created by Serenoa Irons after being given his knighthood. The Surname Irons is given to all bastards born within the Domain of House Ferrante, with Serenoa himself being a bastard child of Aroldo Ferrante. It's sigil is that of a noble black stag standing on a field of yellow and white. It's words "Iron Within, Iron Without", originate from the phrase coined by Serenoa during his refusal of his fathers offer of acknowledging him. After Serenoa's imprisonment it is disputed as to whether or not the House still exists in any capacity. During its time, the House functioned as a direct vassal of the crown.
