House Reed of White Gate is a noble family hailing from the northern kingdom of Dren whose seat is Fáwë Marto (translated to Snow Tower in the common tongue). They are among the most powerful noble families of Dren and have held the Guardianship of the Moon Gate for several seasons. The Reeds trace their ancestry back to House Maerhal, one of the nine traitor houses of Czerezen, as such they are one of the only Drow Noble Houses to remain within the Kingdom. The Reeds blazon is a white hollow circle with white flames encompassing it on a night-black field. Their words are "Warding Night".
