Personal history

Sydril was born at Fáwë Marto as the third son of Lord Velrith Reed and Lady Vaeri Joharice. He had two older brothers, Kaspar, and Bael, and has two younger siblings Lyanna and Belral.   As the third born son, Sydril never expected to inherit House Reed, as such Sydril had never prepared for the role, instead favoring to read and train with a vast manner of weapons. His studies were presided over by Rylnet "The Wise" Kenlyl, while his study of weaponry and war was presided over by the legendary Katar "Bright-Star" Helejeon. Following the deaths of his two elder brothers during the Dracen Invasion, the responsibility of House Reed did indeed fall to Sydril, who has ruled over the house amicably for the past 110 years.   Sydril's marriage to Seylene has proved fruitful, together they have had five children: Morgan Reed , Guinivere Reed, Galan Reed, Alakor Reed, and Rilrae Reed.

Accomplishments & Achievements

In 846CC, at the age of fifty, Sydril journeyed from White Gate to attend the tourney at Sornhome along side his siblings. Also present at the tourney were the various wards of his house, Pyotr Karvskel, Sonya Pedrigan, and Sydril's future wife Seylene Helvesta. The Tourney at Sornhome is renown for bringing legendary fighters from across the Elvish Shards to do battle. It was in this tourney that Sydril's skill in weaponry and tactics would truly be showcased. Against all odds, Sydril took home victory that day besting even "The White Wolf" Adrik Gregorev with his versatility coming out on top over the White Wolf's ferocity.   In 890CC Sydril would join the White Order, where he would quickly ascend the ranks becoming First Ranger of the Order only 4 years later.   Sydril was the primary commander in the Ballad of the Black Wing, in which he is personally responsible for the killings of 23 of the Dread Beast Bravir's brood, as well as the partial blinding of Aerethor in what would later be referred to as The Dance of Steel and Fang. The two have continued to uphold a brutal rivalry that has cost the lives of many. It is also during this period in time that Sydril is told to have uncovered The Black Horn, an artifact said to allow any who blow into it to enforce their will over the Dread Beast and his spawn.
