Baron Rual Rua

Rual Rua is the Lord of Modince and the head of House Rua. He bears a dark reputation due to his brutality in combat as well as in politics. Rual has pulled the port city of Modince out of relative obscurity into the lime light as an alternative trading port than the likes of Vennichi and Slate Port. Nicolina would marry the Lady Nicolina Candrevain 1074, they would have three children together before her death in 1109.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Rual is a large and powerful man with a burly body. His hair is dark brown, the colour of ebony wood.

Facial Features

Rual's face is covered in scars and blemishes from his time in both wars and tourneys across the realm. His eyes are deep obsidian pools, almost completely void of colour. Rual has a thin beard which is disturbed in several places by harsh scars.

Apparel & Accessories

Rual wears a set of racuthil armour, which he tore off of the body of Étienne Reove during the Feathered War. The armour itself once bore the Reoycian eagle across its chest in pure silver, however Rual had it removed leaving an indent in its shape. The eagle was melted down, however the Baron did not use the Racuthil, instead choosing to keep as a plate which he hangs above his high seat in Modince. According to some uncomfirmed sources, the Baron infused the blood of the prince of Reoyce into the metal.
