Sandro Berruchi

King Sandro I Berruchi

Sandro Berruchi was the first King of Raventiva and Lord of the Rookery. Sandro is a legendary figure within Raventivan myth and as such most information present about the man has been mythologized. It is for this reason that most stories about the man must be viewed with skepticism.

Appearance and Character

Sandro was of average height, with broad shoulders and a hard look. He had hazel eyes and medium cut dark brown hair. He was a quiet man, though his voice was able to cause even the most stubborn of men to rush into his service.

During his Unification Sandro wore a shirt of scales with a black overcoat and wielded the Ravenblade, his family's saber, and would have magic infused into the blade; some say this magic has caused the blade to posses a mind of it's own, willingly choosing a worthy succesor to the Raven Throne.

Sandro was a great warrior who rode into battle on the back of his white steed, whom was named Snow. The tradition of the Raventivan royal family riding white steeds was largely adopted due to Sandro's choice of mount, and also the reasoing for the Berruchi cadet house, House Belchain of Whitemane, emblazaning their coat of arms with it.

Sandro never participated in tourneys, and held a great distaste for them going as far to say that they are "foolish sport for men far too willing to spill blood" within the Flight of the Raven.
