Rauta Stonekeg

Rauta Stonekeg, explorer extraordinaire. Rauta is a Copper Dwarf from Krag-a-Krach with an insatiable wanderlust. He brags that he's traveled more of Morgrave than anyone else ever. This is an unsubstantiated brag, but it may not be wrong - Rauta Stonekeg is one of few explorers or researchers who have stayed with the Elves in the Wuthering Wights, for instance, and one of a few hundred who has made the grueling trip through the Rahim Wastes to Raaha. He has lived in all the major nations and has even traveled with the Drifters for a while, but he has not traveled to any islands.

Early Years

Rauta Stonekeg was born in Cair Dend, a small village in eastern Krag-a-Krach. Eastern Krag-a-Krach is known for its proximity to Traitor's Fall and little else - villages like Cair Dend sparsely dot the rolling hills of the highland prairies and footpaths, but rarely roads, connect them together in a stretched out web.
From a young age, Rauta loved to roam. He wandered far and wide, sometimes even as far as the Traitor's Cradle. When he came of age, he took a job as a courier and rode ponies between the towns, delivering supplies and mail between the villages and from Cair Bolun. Eventually, desiring more money, he moved to Dromdorry to pulp Gromril. Rauta stayed here for a long time, and even considers himself a Dromdorrian to this day. Eventually though, his wanderlust caught up with him and he made a full tour of the Morgrave.
