Alternately whimsical & purposeful, Val Voidseeker is a Sunblade from the Yamura Order of Levity (休村の浮華の体制, Yamura no fuka no taisei).
An ex-resident alien of Yamura whose father emigrated from Fánxīng (繁星), Hinan System towards the end of the Yamurajin-Fánxīngi War. Voidseeker has ties to the Liberator cell in Tanryuu, Takahashi Province, Yamura. She was dishonorably charged as the second-highest rank in the Yamura Samurai Force (休村の侍の制), but remains instated as a Sunblade within the Yamuran Order of Levity (休村の浮華の体制).
Val emigrated to Yamura as a child from nearby melting pot planet Fánxīng with her father after her mother died in the Yamurajin-Fánxīngi War. Her father married Yamamoto Aiko to become socially accepted as a Fánxīngi immigrant due to the Yamuran Integrationist Decree.
Val was shuffled away to the Knights of Levity on a life sentence when her step-mother was found to be a traitor. About 20 years later, Val was sworn in as a Samurai Reserve Officer after completing her Sunblade training. She was commended frequently by the Samurai Reserve.
Five months into her active Samurai Reserve service, Valerie was seen on camera incapacitating four corporals, one sergeant major, and Taiheika Honda Shigeru aboard the MCAY Marubasu. She's been on the run from Yamuran forces ever since.

A face that vacillates between smirks, scowls & staid neutrality. Long, black hair tied with double-looped purple or white ribbons. A vivid purple Yamuran Sunblade robe with 'Yamura' written in vertical white calligraphic kanji on the back. Two curved-hilted silver sunblades with pink sakura flower detailing intermittently.

Val's eyes leak purplish Hyperspace Ego liquid while using her Sunblade abilities.

Val's father, Yamamoto Daisuke (f/k/a Yoon Ji-ho), went missing in 16-013- she is unaware that he became a dual agent for two Yamuran black-ops divisions: Division Shinrai (Reliance, assassin unit), & Division Koukan (Exchange, trade, research & development division).
