Reaper Steel

One of the immortal Elements, Reaper steel is a rare material that a Reaper's weapons are made of. Created by the death goddess herself this material allows a wielder to banish ghost back to the afterworld without the use of additional magic. It affects phyiscal material normally, but when used on living beings it can damage their soul directly without cuasing physical damage. Areas severed by reapers steel will not be usable until healed. Destorying a soul center with reaper steel will cuase a catatonic state on the target, and destruction of all 4 soul centers (mind heart, energy and magic) will automatic send their soul to the afterworld, effectively killing the target.Injuries done by Reaper Steel can only be healed by life magic.

Origin & Source

Any metal item can be turned into Reaper Steel. However it is impossible to create for anyone besides the death goddess herself. This is because Reaper steel is made by enchanting metal with death magic while submerged in the waters of Eegos, the center circle of the afterworld.
