Zodia Calendar
This is the standard calendar used through out Albion. A year is defined as The time it takes to go through all the seasons, beginning with winter. The year is divided into 12 cycles, based on the moon cycle, beginning with a full moon. Each cycle has 24 days. The names of the cycle are as follows are based on the 12 animals of the Lunar Zodia
Lupomaro: First Winter Moon of the Wolf
Gruomaro = Second Winter Moon of the Crane
Tinemoro = Third Winter Moon of the Moth
Cervomo: First Spring Moon of the Deer
Ursomaro = Second Spring Moon or the Bear
Testumora = Third Spring Moon of the Turtle
Tigromoro: First Summer Moon of the Tiger
Safomora = Second Summer Moon of the Ram
Aglomora = Third Summer Moon Of the Eagle
Aranamoro: First Autumn Moon of the Spider
Vulpomora = Second Autumn Moon of the Fox
Karpomoro = Third Autumn Moon of the Carp

History
A moon centered calendar system was common among many peoples. However the naming of the months and exact spacing varied greatly. Then in an need to standardize the calendar came as interactions between peoples became more frequent. Many powerful leaders choose to use the Legend of the Lunar Zodia , for the naming and dividing of the months as it was a common story understood by various peoples. It is now used as a standard throughout all regions. There are other ancient calendars, but are usually used in localized area, or in conjunction with the Zodia Calendar
