Erolith Institute

Named after its founder and current chancellor the Erolith institute is second only to the The Exandrisian Thaumaturgical Institute. Built on the banks of Ilsevel lake the university has an atmosphere of silent and fervent study. This serenity is however deceptive as the majority of the elves here hold a prideful resentment for their status as second best and work feverishly to prove their superiority. The Chancellor rules the institute, second in command the vice chancellor and under them the heads of faculty one for each school of magic, they all each have their own hobbies and conduct research into them. The teaching structure of the university is such that once you're into the university you attend whatever lectures and classes you want, there are secret lectures that you can only get into by knowing the right person of being a teachers favorite, learning certain rights of magic, essentially it's all training for politics. There is an industry of more common people supplying the institute making this more of a large town than just a university.
