Terranon

The greatest necromancer ever to exist, one who perfected the art of eternal life. And gifted it to the elves, at the expense of the lifespan of other species. They can never die and remain imprisoned in The Keep of Terranon a secret hold in the north protected by magic, amongst other things. After her own people, the high elves, turned on her in the first attempt to capture her she turned on them. She tore through her own populace creating a vast army of undead high elves, she destroyed their population, and is a large part of the reason for the lost history and poulation of the high elves that persists to this day. The number of ancient elves unable to continue as repositories of knowledge was devastating for their culture. It is in no small part what has led to the cruelness of their culture today, a society run by cruel children.
