The Maw

A sea of rocky islands and jagged reef. It'd be damn near impossible for any ship piloted by human hands to navigate this treacherous stretch of water. Yet there is rarely a day when one doesn't see the sight of a ship speeding across the maw with sails full, at its prow the infernal light of a merrenoloths oar.

Geography

Vegetated rocky islands jut out of the water, many people and things less than people, are hidden in these isles. Through the shallow waters, the jagged sea bed can be seen ready to tear the bottom out of any boat foolish enough to traverse these waters.
