"Yuusha" is nothing but a title, a moniker, for the hero of Academic City Arte. She is the most powerful magic-user on the continent, but suffers from severe mental afflictions. Her power puts her at a place the law can't touch, so they don't, even if they want to.
Those that stand in the way of her mad quest to destroy all the demons in the world become demons themselves, in her eyes.

Personal history
Yuusha's history before she came to Arte City is unknown, but she has a personal history with the Arte family. Since her traversal deep into the Labyrinth that left her best friend, Matari Arte, in a state of madness, she has secluded herself within it's depths.
Mental Trauma
Yuusha suffers from a severe case of PTSD and amnesia that has left her with no memories other than her desire to destroy all demons, whether they be mental or physical. This strong desire, along with her astounding power, causes her to see others humans who commit atrocities to be demons, and therefore slaughtered without mercy.
