Azaroth

Leader of the Black Hand, Azaroth is the representative of the Beliar religion in Ban Grond. Originally from the western orc tribes, Azaroth has overthrown the former leader of the Black Hands and formed a special caste of warriors known among the goblins as templars.

Black Hand tribe

The black hand tribe is involved in keeping the mines running and spreading the Beliar religion. Often at conflict with the Brown Chests over religious matters and mining shares, they are battle-hardened. Their warrior ranks are primarily comprised of hobgoblins, thinking of bugbears as the weak-minded. With not too many civilians, a large part of the tribe's power comes from their kobold slaves.

Azaroth and Gnel know each other from the times Gnel was visiting Azaroth's orc home of Drumak. There they became acquainted before Azaroth took control over the Black Hands.
