Ban Grond Mines

To the north of Ban Grond lie its famous mines, filled with iron, copper, tin and coal veins. Deeper within the mountains there are even precious gems to be found. The main entrances to the mine are held by the goblins along with some of the main shafts. Within the deep halls however the goblins battle over territory with troglodytes and minecrawlers. Although each chieftain holds some shares in the mines, the great shafts are controlled by the Brown Chests and the Black Hands (see Aard and Azaroth respectively for details on the tribes). Most of the workers found here are kobolds along with some of the 'weaker' tribesmen of the Brown Chests.
