Dark Elves

The Dunmer (dark elves), are a race of brown to pale skinned elves most often with red eyes. Though the exact creation of the race is uncertain, the Dunmer linage from the Altmer (high elves), becoming a separate race through the workings of Azura.

Character Creation

A dark elf has the same stats as that of a drow, with the following alteration allowed: "The Sunlight Sensitivity may be dropped, with the cost of reducing the Superior Darkvision (120 ft.) to Normal Darkvision (60 ft.).

Settlements

Dark elves are no common site to the people of the Westfork, but they are known to have societies in Xu (the lands of Urgath) and past the lands of the Elven Court (Morrowind). They have awoken in the Westfork from a long slumber around 40 years ago, when they were put to sleep upon invading an ancient High Elf Kingdom controlling the lands (read the The 40 year interim for more info).
