Chaptermaster Dorian (a.k.a. Evermouth)

Biography

Dorian was the son of a lowborn hunter in Edaur. He therefore spent much time in the Wilds and grew up to be an enthusiastic boy. His skill with the bow was so great, that when peril visited the Watchlands, Dorian enlisted in The Night's Watch at the young age of 15. His wonderment and general acceptance of all living forms granted him the position of Chaptermaster after the conquest of Orcia, while he was at the young age of 20. Here he was constantly maintaining balance between the different peoples under his rule. Whether it were the orc tribes that roamed the countryside, the dwarven merchants in the inns and workshops, or the human farmers, Duncan always found a way to connect with someone. His aptitude for chit-chat led to his nickname 'Evermouth,' which he took as a badge of pride and his actual last name during the Great Census.

Skills

Dorian is a quick fighter with a bow and knows how to survive in the Wilds. He is an easy chat and shows an aptitude to the diplomacy of making friends.

Personality

Dorian is a sunshine of positivity. Hardly anything gets him down and his childish wonderment for the World grips him whenever he discovers something new. As a young chaptermaster he has grown an aptitude for the balancing of the interests of different populations.

Ideals

Dorian is a pacifist at heart. He pleads for coexistence between races and between the towns and the wilds.

Bonds

Dorian's bond is with his many friends in his chapter and with the needs of the many different peoples that inhabit the Watchlands.

Flaws

Dorian can be too trusting and often sees the best in people. His sunny personality also doesn't allow him to deal with situations of utter despair well.

Diplomacy

Dorian hosts a very open attitude to the outside world. He allows foreigners to roam freely and actively persuades them to settle in Orcia. This has led to good bonds with both the Orcs of Orsinium and the Dwarfs of Karak-Azul and the Kingdom of Mazaar.
