Falric Honeybottom
Biography
Falric lived an easy life, as did his father and grandfather before him. As long as most halflings could remember the Honeybottoms had been the mayors of the Southern Farthing Quarter. The fields full of peasants toiling to grow pumpkins, wheats and barley always delighted Falric as he made his daily round along the waterstream and over the market. As mayor it was his job to settle disputes amongst the hobbitfolk, which were rare and often quite silly, administrate all legal affairs, which were taken much more serious than they should have been, and represent the people of the Southern Farthing Quarter to the elven overlords in Mulandir. All encompassed Falric loved his life. He didn't have to work too hard, harvests were usually plentiful and his belly was usually filled with meats, eggs and beer. All that changed when the dark elf invasion happened. As soon as news broke out of their landing in the South, Falric knew something wasn't right. He also knew that the Southern Farthing Quarter was one of the first strokes of land they would reach on their way to Mulandir. Therefore he first panicked for several hours, but as soon as he came into his own again he ordered the hobbitfolk anywhere where he could find them to pack the essentials and led them in a great caravan to the safe walls of Mulandir. The city proved not too be as safe as they thought however and as the magic missiles started bombarding the city, Falric led his people from the squalor of the refugee quarters into the high-end upper quarter. To his credit it must be said Falric actually stood up to an elven guard who wouldn't let him pass and the elf may or may not have been thrown through the nearest window by the anxious horde of hobbits. In the upper quarter Falric noticed the high elves gathering near the entrance of a cave. Sensing the most safest place was within he and his people followed them. This was the last thing he remembered... After waking up from slumber 2000 years later, Falric and his people first followed their Queen Ayrenn Silverstrand. She got in conflict with The Night's Watch and after a short war there developed a stalemate. Falric, tired of war, joined the Night's Watch and his people started their own villages. Eventually he settled near Umbria and started growing weed.Skills
Falric is an compassionate man who knows halflingkind very well. He is an expert on all Southern Farthing Quarter laws. Apart from that he usually knows his place in diplomatic situations, knowing how to flatter and talk his way out of another rising tax. Although he wields a sword, he isn't too adept at using it. Something that may have to change very soon...Personality
