Biography
As third child and only son to
Marcus Vardenfell and Anna, Lucas always felt he had great shoes to fill. Although not as gifted with the bow, magic or Dragonborn like his sisters and his father, Lucas proved to be a very capable warrior, mowing through orcs with his longsword and holding the line firmly with his shield.
Lucas also grew up at Castle Black, where he had the best teachers money can buy. He took an interest to the world of finance, civic planning and took up alchemy as a personal hobby. Outside of the castle walls he proved his valour on the field of battle in the Great Orc Invasion and in the war in the Southern Wilds. During the time spent at Dragon's Keep he formed a friendship with the dwarven commander from the
Kingdom of Orzammar Gundarr Treestone.
In the last months before his father found death in the Southern Wilds, Lucas was named chaptermaster of Umbria, effectively governing the former Gothic heartlands. Because Lucas always felt he had to live up to the family name and step in his father's footsteps, a rivalry has formed between him and his sister
Vivian Vardenfell who felt she had to do the same.
