Sloniz

Sloniz, leader and founder of the Shire of Sloniz, is a Nilbog governing the eastern swamps of Rhunaar.

Post-Expedition

In 1470 an expedition force of the Windhelm Trading Company, known by some as The Resourceful Ones, bring havoc upon Sloniz's shire. They discover Sloniz and his Nilbogs were involved in a plot ago involving the Daedric Prince Sanguine to massacre the Hobgoblins inhabiting the Shire. After Sloniz's death, Sanguine sent a Dremora agent of his Sarados to impersonate Sloniz. This truth is uncovered by the expedition force and Sarados/Sloniz is killed in combat in his tent (see Session VII: The End of the Shire Report for details on the battle).

History

Sloniz used to trade with Gnel's tribe of the Skull Crushers. This brought Sloniz the necessary gold while Gnel gained the Shire's exquisite wines, beer and 'medicinal herbs'. This allowed Gnel to make quite a profit in Ban Grond.
