Torstein Far-Hammer
BIOGRAPHY
After years of hopelessly resisting the Undead from the North the Nordic Kingdoms finally succeeded in destroying one of the Necro-Lords plagueing their lands. The one who dealt the final blow to the nefarious creature was Torstein Far-Hammer. Originally a smith from Dingwall, the ongoing war against the undead dragged Torstein to the warrior life. He never went into battle with glee, instead carrying a serious and dramatic demeanour, which is shown in his many composed battle-songs. After defeating the Necrolord Agrippinus Torstein was hailed as the new High King of the Nordic Kingdoms in 1460. The last High King had perished in the sacking of Storfolk in 1436. Ever after the Nordic Kingdoms were so plagued by constant war that no new High King was elected. Torstein stands as head of a battered realm that needs to rebuild in the respite that has been granted to them from the Undead raids.Skills
Torstein is a saga composing warrior. He constructs poems and songs of the great battles of his time. Most well known are 'The Frozen River Var' and 'the Saga of Ragnar Ravenhead.' As a former smith he has intimate knowledge of many weapons and therefore wields many kinds of weapons into battle. He has shown to be adept with all of them.PERSONALITY
Torstein is a tragic figure. Growing up on the heroic tales of Nordic bravery he has seen the whole Nordic world crumble under the weight of the Undead onslaught. This has given Torstein a melodramatic and serious touch. He is resolute and doesn't change his mind quickly, but can take long to reach a decision.Ideals
