Natural Beauty Lumber Yard

The sound of sawing wood, the chatter of lumberjacks, the whinny of horses, yet in the distance, the peace of the forest. The lumberyard is surrounded by the natural beauty of upstate New York, but also holds the seed of industry within. From here many hard working individuals like Herman Ilermet harvest wood and distribute it not only through the city, but with the aid of the Erie Canal, all across our growing country.   The yard is run by Rhoda Pitcher, who can attract a crowd at lunchtime by telling one of her famous spooky stories.

Uncanny Occurrence

Nightmares abound for the neighbors unfortunate enough to live near the lumber yard. This has been a wide-spread occurrence among young men, who have reported waking up drenched in cold sweat and shaking, though they cannot remember the nature of their nightmare. The problem has also afflicted horses, who have been found in their stalls in the morning light with crazed eyes and their coats in a lather of sweat.
