Owain Goch ap Gruffudd

Owain Goch 'Owain the Red' ap Gruffudd
First son of Gruffudd ap Llywelyn Fawr and brother to Llywelyn ap Gruffudd, Dafydd ap Gruffudd, and Rhodri ap Gruffudd.
One-time Joint Prince of Gwynedd along with his younger brother Llywelyn ap Gruffudd and ruled the lower-portion of Gwynedd Uwch-Conwy and the Lleyn Peninsula along with some commotes on Anglesey.
Defeated at the Battle of Bryn Derwin by his brother Llywelyn and spent much of his life imprisoned at Dolbadarn Castle, and was later moved to Criccieth Castle. The date of his death cannot be accurately confirmed, though it is believed he died in captivity.
