Gìzluh River

the Iwati river

This river runs to the east, ending near the capital Iwati. This area does not receive a lot of rain, so the river itself is fairly small and straight as it winds its way south into the Misopo ocean.   The river has played an important role in Iwati culture. The river is used for transportation of goods along to neighboring towns down the river, is the primary source of drinking water, and a source of food for the population.
