Ildoar

The Ildoar people live have snouts, tusks, whiskers, and noses like star-nosed moles. Their noses are green because they photosynthesize with chlorophyll. They have four large protruding eyes arranged in two pairs.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Ildoar have oval-shaped heads, snout noses, tusks protruding from their lower jaw, and digitgrade legs that end in hooves. They have sharp fingers (descended from hooves as well).

Dietary Needs and Habits

They are omnivorous. They prefer vegetation and insects, but they are able to process and eat meat and fish as well.

Behaviour

In Kugma and Iwati cultures, where the self is conceptualized as a group of entities, the amount of sensory information taken in by the ildoar body can manifest differently for different entities. Each eye can be its own entity, so up to four "eyes" can be "fronting" (experiencing the external world) at once in order to communicate general vision. Some entities may have different visual acuities compared to others in their body family.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Ildoar have a very good sense of smell. With their four eyes, they also have over 270 degree vision, and each eye can move independently.
