After the War of Creatures, the Sentinel Council was founded, an organisation that oversees cooperation between human nations against all external threats. With it, four cities were founded on the outskirts of human territory, and one big human capital on the isle of Syntra, where all matters of international cooperation would be organised, a neutral capital.

After the War of Creatures, the Sentinel Council was founded, an organisation that oversees cooperation between human nations against all external threats. The organisation is not one of peace, but one of mutual protection solely against the threats that all nations face in a world filled with supernatural forces. The human nations, shaken by the disasterous rise of Chit'khron and his abominations, were quicker than ever to cooperate. It was them, with the help of the high dwaves that hid the fragments of the Nephilim once again in safe, hidden places across the world.   Five cities were founded to guard the borders and core of human terrirory. In the distant North, East, South, and West, they foundes Northlight, Eastlight, Southlight, and Westlight. Each of these had its own sovereign realm, but also a human territory which it was obligated to protect against any non-human threat. Each of these had its own history and challenges. Westlight, for example, had to act as a constant fortress against the demons from Arkhara, which very soon overwhelmed it. For most of its history, Westlight was a ruins, and Nax Veslat informally took its place, homing the Sentinel armies.   The headquarters of the Sentinel Council was Syntra, an island near the centre of Bocklynn, which became a neutral, political capital of humanity.
