First Human Cities

The oldest records of human cities come from Makhyllar.

A long time before the Arcane Meteor the warm planes of Makhyllar hosted multiple impressive human cities considering their age. There are still several great monuments in what is now a dead desert. Indeed, there is little more left of this ancient culture, because the Arcane Meteor brought death upon these lands that were so close to impact. Whatever was left scattered very soon only to return to any kind of glory several centuries later.   The elves had few encounters with this culture due to distance, but the dwarves had some known records. They considered it an interesting phenomenon, but didn't think it compared to their advanced culture. They mostly moved past them like an elephant might walk by a group of meerkats.   Whatever the culture called themselves back then, the name is lost to time. We now call them the Pre-Makhyllians.
