Casting out of the Dwarves

As a race only partially attuned to magic, the dwarves could still be saved from extinction by the arcane meteor. The elves therefor sent the dwarves back to Bocklynn in the hopes of them outgrowing magic.

Having been warned of the coming of the Dark Meteor, the elves hoped to save the dwarves from the same fate as them. As they knew they'd die because of their dependancy on mana, they hoped to save the dwarves by rehabilitating the race to life on non-magical ground. The dwarven children would grow up with a minimal amount of magic, therefor their bodies wouldn't absorb it as much. They helped to build several colonies for the dwarves and sent some of the wisest sidhe to guide the dwarves. In the end they weren't as successful as they'd liked. The dwarves cast elven philosophy out the window and began warring very soon. When the meteor fell, the dwarves living on Central Bocklynn died from arcane mana poisoning, but some survived in the far North and South.
