The Falling of the Arcane Meteor (or often Falling) is the event in which the elves were extinct and arcane mana came Myr.

Why exactly the gods decided to create the Arcane Meteor is uncertain. It was likely created to destroy the elves the hard way and clear Myr for the other races to create their own cultures. Arcane mana (or arcana) is a counterpart to normal mana and is a wild, dangerous and unstable source of magic, which needs no input from the gods. It is seen as a source of magical power for the evil and godless.   The Arcane Meteor would kill every elf and most of the dwarves. It would make a desert out of most of the West of Bocklynn. All the land outside of Lyemyr and central Bocklynn will turn because of (in short) a destabilised global climate.
