Akozar

Government

Each section of the city is overseen by a member of the royal court who is in charge of keeping the peace in their sector and handling the lesser complaints of the citizens. When an issue that they are unable to resolve it then gets taken to the palace for the King to make his ruling.

Defences

The entire city is surrounded by a tall sturdy wall that is constantly patrolled by guards. Generally this is enough to deter anyone foolish enough to trek through the desert with ill intent...it doesn't do much to keep out dragons though.

Industry & Trade

Akozar is a thriving trade hub with multiple markets. Granted they import most of their goods, but they also supply most of the settlements within the Nirel. What they do excell at making is art, and it is the real life blood of the city.

Infrastructure

Akozar is by far the richest of all the settlements within Iitesan, although that has taken a hit by the recent dragon attack. The citizen's didn't let that stop them and they started rebuilding almost as soon as the dragons were gone. The city itself is built in a circular pattern around the palace, the roads branching out from this point are a true sight to see, almost seeming to glitter like gems in the sun. Each section of the city has their own courtyard where the market can be found as well as the public bathes.

Assets

The most notable asset to Akozar is access to the temple located on the mountains

Guilds and Factions

Akozar's strongest guilds are the Artist and Theives guild, rivaling even the church itself.

Architecture

Akozar is a city rich in life and color. Their elaborate stone buildings are bedecked with jewel like murals. Beautiful statues can be found just about anywhere you look. Where most cities are filled with gardens and parks for people to go relax and socialize in, the denizens of the Nivel desert have taken a different approach, filling their city with pools, fountains, and bathe houses.

Natural Resources

Citizens of Akozar often travel up into the mountains surrounding the city to hunt for food or supply what little lumber the city requires. The mountains are also where they get the stone used to build the city.
