Mylanta

The Healer

Mylanta is one of the most commonly worshiped deities among the divine, if not the most common. Her beauty drove Trithereon and Asmodeus mad with lust, starting the The Jealous Gods' War.
At the conclusion of their training, clerics take the Mylantean Oath, swearing they will not willingly cause harm to any under their charge.
Due to The Jealous Gods' War, there is a schism dating back at least six hundred years between those who believe she is human and those who fervently believe she is Elven. This is because of widespread, rampant vandalism--the ancient texts, statues, frescoes, icons etc. that survived have never clearly portrayed her as one or the other.
If asked to weigh in on the issue, most half-elves would simply smile and say that the distinction is irrelevant to being a faithful disciple of Mylanta.
