He is about 31 years old as of 1542 He wears glasses His clothes are usually disheveled (although that has recently changed as a love interest has begun to work on his appearance) He is clumsy He is gaunt with an almost sickly appearance - mostly because he barely eats or sleeps.  And this too is recently changing due to the influence of a love interest.
He is Bookish - he likes to study old maps and manuscripts. He is constantly perusing the city for bookstores, map stores, and libraries (generally private ones)
He has a slight stutter

He has killed two weak vampires, before joining with The Right Fist. He helped them with information on how to find and combat the vampire and was instrumental in their success in defeating the vampire.
He wants to work with The Right Fist. Part because of their combat strength, part because of the similar goals, and part because of their access to government oversight that can grant the group broad access to information, resources, and "police power".
He is really good at the research and the details - much better at that stuff that the actual fighting. In fact, you have no idea how he could have could even the two weak vampires that he claims to have killed.
