Hiding and attacking and then hiding again
Certain Roques (Theives) may have an uncanny ability to hide in shadows and even attack while hiding in shadows and possibly even stay hidden. But for the most part, if you are hiding, once you "pop out" to attack you are seen. Even if you do not "pop out" but attack from the hidden space the person you attack and others around them may be able to deduce were the attack came from and find you. Of course they would need to make rolls verses your hiding skill - modified depending on what you had just done that they noticed.
So for the most part - it is generally assumed that once you attack from a hidden position - then everyone now knows were you are.
You can then hide again, move somewhere else, and hide in the new location. Of course you would need to make rolls and if you succeed, then everyone would presume you are still in your original hiding spot and would not know where your new hiding spot is. This you could then "pop out" from this new location on your next attack round.
The rolls you will be making would be modified, or the enemies roll to see you might be modified, depending on the circumstances. But I am generally fair in applying penalties and/or bonuses. And if you think I am not being fair, just let me know.
