Tanya, who is a ranger

Tanya is a half elf. When first introduced to this story, she was working with a Giant Ape named Tarn for a traveling circus. She dispised the fact that Tarn was kept on display in a cage, but she was powerless to free him - so she worked for the circus and made Tarn's life as good as it could be. The joke was always “Tarn and Tanya sitting in a tree, KISSING….”. Tanya is very skilled with animals and very patient with animals. But be warned – not so much with other women and darn right mean and angry with men.
She had been working with Tarn for 10 years when the circus was in Avondale and she met The Right Fist.
At first, Tanya was snarky and rude. She would help if pressured but would say things like, “why don’t you just leave him alone” or “ what’s the matter, cant speak gorilla?”. She uses speak with animals to talk to him. And she says that the Giant Ape said things lie “others like me, big, strong. Smell same me, maybe me” when he was traveling down the river towards Avondale.
Tanya would love to have bought Tarn's freedom from the circus, but she could never raise enough money. So instead she works with him to make him as comfortable as possible.
While the circus was in Avondale, other giant apes attacked the city walls as they had watched Tarn being transported to the city and they wanted to free him. In order to preven this, the circus agreed to sell Tarn to Captain Garth and Tanya took Tarn out of the city and into the woods and the other Giant Apes followed, thus stopping the attack.
