Alonta Carphine
Alonta Carphine is a member of the Carphine noble family and a priestess of the Oracle. She is mother to Vadina, Elyssa and Damien Carphine and the wife of Tyhpon Carphine. She is a cold, calculating and disciplined woman, with a wide understanding of magic in conjunction with her teachings of the Oracle.

Personal history
Alonta was born into a powerful elven family in Southeastern Pianzia, near the border of Cepro. Raised to the standards of a Pianzian noble, Alonta took an interest in both the arcane and physical sciences, and by age 130 she was an accomplished magus of the College of Dragonwall. It was here that she met Typhon Carphine, another powerful elven noble from the city of Neverin and knight of Pianzia, and a man whose influence could sway key figures at home. Their courtship and marriage was born more from strategy than love, though the two were often of the same mind.
After her marriage, Alonta moved north to Neverin with her husband and children, and used her skills as a mage and politician to increase the Carphine family power. When the Empire of Shar first came into contact with the Oracle and began their expansion, Alonta and Typhon knew survival, both political and possibly physical, relied on their compliance with this new authority. Alonta renounced her previous faith and became a priestess of the Oracle, using her knowledge to further promote the way of her new patron.
